This professional development opportunity will train child care providers in implementing a developmental screening program, utilizing ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2, in the child care environment.

About the Event

ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2 are easy to use by providers with varying levels of education and expertise, They are the most accurate and cost-effective way to pinpoint delays early and celebrate children’s milestones. Children can be screened between one month and 5½ years, without any gaps between the questionnaire age intervals.

 

This professional development opportunity will train child care providers in implementing a developmental screening program, utilizing ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2, in the child care environment.

 

If you are NOT able to implement Ages and Stages Developmental Screenings into your program this is NOT the training for you. 

 

The training includes 3 sessions throughout ONE DAY that covers what you need to know to offer developmental screenings in your program.

 

January 24th, 2025 9:00 am - 4:00 pm CST*

 

9:00 - 12:00 -- Session 1 & Session 2: Part 1

12:00 - 1:00 -- Lunch Break

1:00 - 4:00 -- Session 2: Part 2 & Session 3

 

*Please note all times are in Central Time

  • The training will be held VIRTUALLY, via Microsoft TEAMS, with ONE, FULL DAY SESSION. You are REQUIRED to attend (with video on) and participate.

  • Following the training, you will also be required to attend a 1x1 session with an Inclusion Coach to support implementation and complete a Provider Agreement.

  • Full training credit will be given following the completion of all requirements, including screening implementation with 50% or more of enrolled children in your program.

  • After registration has closed, an Inclusion Coach, will contact you to answer any questions and you will receive information on how to join each session. 

 

At the end of this training, you will know how to administer both the ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2 with children in your care.

This is why you will also receive FREE access to ASQ Online, which helps you build a smooth and streamlined screening program to support the screening of every child.

 

**Please note you can register up to three staff from each facility/program.
